FRENCH CONVERSATIONAL CLASSES IN NEWPORT!

Many people choose to visit France for vacations, short breaks or to buy a second home, yet few learn to speak the language. Using what I term as textbook French is OK and will present your issues, but when the French person responds … Ouch! For sure, I think that best sums it up!

I concentrate on teaching conversational French and my classes are all about delivering modern and useable French. This allows students to participate in speaking French from the very first lesson and brings much easier and better results. My approach is very different, you don’t need to have a good memory, and practising speaking a new language in a happy and friendly environment is a huge confidence builder.

Being able to do things such as ordering meals, shopping when you’re on vacation, or just having a tête-à-tête with a French person can be a very enjoyable experience and fun to do.
It’s always advisable to book early to secure a place and avoid disappointment.

All of the classes are held at Haberdashers’ Adams School, Newport. I teach all levels from absolute beginners onwards, and of course, one-to-one tuition.
